Serves 2-4

That’s right…fried avocado. I know you guys love this kind of stuff, so here it is! It’s extremely easy to make, and if you’re making it for friends they’ll think you’re some sort of genius, or that you possibly dabble in magic or something like that.

Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl.  Season to taste, and set aside in fridge.

Slice avocados in half.  Take seed out, and peel skin. Your avocado shouldn’t be too soft.

Slice the avocado length wise.  Season with salt and pepper, and set aside on a plate.

In a bowl, crack egg, whisk, and season with salt and pepper.

On a plate add enough flour to coat all the avocado.  As well as the bread crumbs on a different plate.  Season both the flour and bread crumbs with salt and pepper.

Take a slice of the avocado at a time, dust it with flour, then dip it in the egg, then into the bread crumbs.  And set aside on a clean plate.  Do this until all the slices of avocado are breaded.

In a frying pan, heat up some veggie oil.  Hot enough that the avocado instantly starts to fry.  Now these cook very fast, so stay by these.  It’s literally a few second on each side, or until the breaded avocado slices are golden.  Once done cooking, place them on a paper towel lined plate to absorb any oil.

Once all the avocado is fried, place them on a nice platter or plate, with a lemon wedge, and your dipping sauce.  Eat right away, or keep in the oven at 200 degrees to keep warm until ready to eat.

Now you got your self a pretty unique little snack.  Enjoy!
